Product introduction: Hydroentangling is the process of fiber consolidation through the use of fine, high-pressure water jets. Fabrication of nonwovens by this method usually begins by carding the fibers into a web-like structure, then passing the web through a series of high-pressure water curtains that are used to entangle the fibers and create numerous fiber-to-fiber intersections. This technology is used to produce nonwoven fabrics with high fabric uniformity, high strength-to-weight ratio, lower average pore size and increased absorbency properties.The hydroentangling nonwoven process is unique. The process is designed to produce heavyweight fabrics (up to 18oz/YD2=610GSM) of various fibers, specifically for the production of filter media for industrial filter collection applications. Filter media of polyester, aramid, PPS, PTFE and other commonly used fibers can be produced. Improved performance compared to standard needle felts widely used in the filtration industry.

    Suitable for user conditions that do not require the use of laminations but wish to increase filtration accuracy; 
    Slightly lighter grammage of hydroentanglement compared to currently used needle-punched media, but with no compromise in efficacy; 
    The possibility of replacing the filter cloth with a lighter weight material without reducing its normal performance; 
    significant savings to the user in terms of maintenance and operating costs; 
    The product is used as a substitute for needle-punched laminated filter media, reducing a series of subsequent problems caused by the membrane.
