Developed to replace traditional filter bags and cage filters, each pleated dust filter cartridge is designed with a one-piece construction and can be used in new systems or in existing bag filter chamber equipment for simple modifications to improve system performance.
Pleated filter cartridges provide more filter media than traditional felt bags, resulting in increased filter surface area and filtration capacity. The life expectancy is 2-3 times that of a conventional bag. The added pleats in the pleated dust filter cartridge design increase the filtration area almost twice as much as the filter bags in existing equipment.
The increased filtration area results in a lower air to media ratio when the airflow remains constant, resulting in increased filtration efficiency while operating at lower differential pressures.
Installation methods are varied for top, bottom and oval configurations and a variety of filter media options are available including hydroentanglement media, PTFE (polyester laminate), polyester fiber, antistatic laminate, flame retardant laminate, carbon fiber material, high temperature resistant material and more.
